Sunday School

Children’s Sunday School classes are available for children ages Kindergarten through 6th grades beginning at 9:30am each Sunday morning  and lasting until 10:15am. Our current curriculum is Generations of Grace from Grace Community Church.

Sunday School is a time to lead children to Jesus and guide them to be more like him.  The seven-fold strategy of our Sunday School is…

  • Believe the Gospel
  • Understand Biblical Ethics
  • Internalize Godliness
  • Learn Doctrine
  • Develop Life Skills
  • Uplift Others
  • Prepare to Serve

A pre-school Children’s church is held immediately following Sunday School for 3 years old through pre-kindergarten.

Junior Church

Junior church age group is kindergarten through 3rd grade and is typically dismissed from the morning worship service after the offering is taken.

Summer VBS

Typically, our church organizes a “Vacation Bible School” for 1 week each summer.

Summer Camps

CBC actively encourages Christian Summer Camp Ministry for our children and we offer “Sunday School Scholarships” to help young people attend camp.  We are affiliated with Scioto Hills Baptist Camp in Wheelersburg, Ohio and send kids to their “New Frontier” Camp (Gr. 2-6th), “Alpha” Camp (Gr. 6-9th), & “Revolution” Teen Bible Conference (Gr. 9-12th).

Awana

The name Awana is derived from the key Bible verse (2 Timothy 2:15) and stands for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.”  Awana Clubs offer children three years old through twelfth grade an opportunity to learn and apply the Bible in an exciting, fun filled atmosphere.
