Teen Ministries

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”

The teen ministry at CBC is for 9th through 12th graders.  We exist to challenge teenagers to live for something BIGGER than sin, self, & stuff.  Our desire is to ignite PASSION in young people for the Supremacy of CHRIST & the Sufficiency of His WORD.

Our strategy is simple.  We encourage teens to KNOW & worship Jesus Christ as our only God & Savior and to connect with other followers of Christ, to GROW in their pursuit of being more like Christ, and to GO for Christ and share the life-changing message of the Gospel with their peers.

Teen specific activities and ministries…

• Teen Sunday School Class  (Old Testament & Topical)  9:30 AM
• Wednesday Worship & Bible Study  6:30 – 8:30 PM
• Small Discipleship Groups
• At least one fun teen activity per month! (trips, all-nighters, games, etc.)
• Summer teen camps & mission trips
• Christian music concerts
• Many opportunities to serve!

We teach expositionally through the Bible in all our teen classes.  We believe that teens desperately need the deep truths of Gods Word and that systematic, rigorous Bible teaching is the primary means of producing life transformation.
